Ordered these boots on a whim, but I'm delighted with them. It was my first experience with the OTBT brand, and I am pleased with the quality, looks, fit and comfort. Love the inside zipper so they don't need to be laced (unless you want to lace them). The leather feels substantial, and the color is a nice warm saddle brown. I feel that they run true to size and width. I was concerned that the buckle at the front would make my already large feet look bigger, but that's not the case at all. Nice moderate heel height. I have trouble finding comfortable footwear, but these seem like they'll be okay. I haven't worn them out yet, so I can't comment on the durability or how comfortable they'll be when I've walked any distance. The only negative is that they're made in China. Too bad. I got a great deal on them, otherwise I would have felt compelled to return them. I'm willing to sacrifice my principals a bit for the right price.I have worn these once, with comfort, but they are an odd boot. The leather is really manipulated to be crackly, which is slightly biker and I wish the laces were better, not plain cotton, but though they are out of my usual style range, I will keep them for those strange days when you want to wear strange things. The black is more of a faded, distressed black, however these boots are still very cute & comfortable. They definitely run a 1/2 size larger than my regular size (size 7). I ordered a 6.5. & the fit is perfect. If you have wide feet, I recommend sticking to your regular shoe size. Please keep in mind that these boots are "very" distressed. The leather doesn't have a "faded" effect, it's cracked. They look great with jeans, leggings & dresses. Very comfortable!I love the soft leather upper, the inside zipper for ease of donning, but most of all I love them, because I have severe ankle pain and the short boot top gives me so much relief I can't believe it. I can stay in fashion with the young chics (I'm 68 yoa. lol) and feel good too!I bought another pair from another company online, they cost 3X's as much and I love them, but there is no difference in the relief, both give that, so naturally I favor the OTBT Tuscany!Well designed, this black version is a little scaly and rough textured, not sure how to care for the leather. The fit is good, able to cinch up the ankle part and the toe area is roomy and well padded. A bit heavy.Saw these boots in a store this past summer and loved them ,unfortunately they didn't have my size . Went on line and found them ,bought them without even trying them on . They were comfortable from the moment I put them on . Don't know how they will hold up only time will tell. I've worn them with skirts , shorts , great with many looks !!!Great color. Well made, good quality. I only wish it would have had a wedge heel. If you're in between sizes, I would suggest going for the smaller size, it seemed to run long. The Tuscany version of these boots are exactly what I've been looking for. They are very versatile. A mid-height, sturdy heel that's not shaped like a clunky square. An ankle boot that isn't the all-too-common pull-on bootie style. The buckles are classy brass. Don't be fooled by the distressed black version--the brown version isn't as "combat" as that.
